Pearl Millet flakes are made from pearl millet, a nutrient-dense ancient grain. They are light, quick to cook, and highly nutritious, rich in iron, protein, fiber, and magnesium. Pearl flakes support energy, digestion, bone strength, and heart health. They can be used to prepare poha, upma, porridge, or healthy snacks as a wholesome alternative to rice flakes.
Recipe :
Rinse 1 cup Pearl Millet flakes and keep aside. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chili, onion, sauté. Add turmeric, salt, chopped veggies and cook slightly. Mix in the soaked flakes, stir gently for 2–3 mins. Garnish with coriander & lemon juice.
